Stanton Degregorio: from what I understand, computer science is mostly programming software whereas computer engineering deals with hardware, machine programming, etc. Computer engineering is much harder but will most likely land you a good stable job with good money. In computer science, it is in some ways easier but keep in mind that unless you plan to study new programming languages all your life, you will very quickly become outdated and give companies more reason not to hire you. if you are more of a hardware kinda person with a solid understanding of electrica! l and especially mathematical concepts then computer engineering is what you're looking for. also, as others have said, it never hurts to talk to profs and other people working in the field....Show more
