Palmira Lochridge: THANKS > you_guess > helpful infoo ! Then if not biology does it have to do with physics ?
Ambrose Mumma: Optical illusion has actually nothing to do with Biological system in our brains and body. When light rays enter through the eye lens and hits the retina.. it excites the rod and con cells present in eye.. the excitement of these cell send impulses to the brain so that the brain figures out the object we are actually viewing. In case of optical illusion the light rays that enters in our eyes are diverged from normal rays due to "environmental" conditions like air density, heat etc.. and hence since diverted rays fall into our eyes the vision our brain creates are also diverse from the way a object actually is... and so causes Optical Illusion.. I hope this helped! :)Welcome... and yeah its physics... Optical physics that has to do with all reflection, refraction ,total internal reflection..that's what cause the false light rays!...Show more
Johnnie Pummill: Optical illuisons are very much a piece of Biology. Optical illusions demonstrate how two body parts (the brain and the eye) can interact in abnormal ways- the eye sees one thing, and the brain interprets it according to previous experience and what it *expects* to be true.
Tom Romer: arithmetic is the attempt to describe certainty by utilising utilising numeric machinations, so math may well be used to describe all styles of issues, even issues that arn't there (illusions). Math is in simple terms a equipment for discribing certainty, usualy interior the wish gaining some understand-how on the subject of the certainty you're describing, the two predictively as in if I upload 2 apples to a bag that has 2 apples how many apples will I fairly have interior the bag or deductively, I had 4 apples in my bag then I gave the bag to a pal, while my chum gave the bag lower back he mentioned "sorry I ate 2 of your apples" how many apples are left interior ! the bag?...Show more
