A-G CSU Art Requirement? ?

Neville Dautremont: hard problem. lookup onto yahoo and bing. just that may help!

Caleb Chapman: Humboldt State actually isn't too serious about it. They will most likely accept you, as long as you promise to take a visual arts course in college. If you are really worried about it, you can take a semester of Art Appreciation or a similar subject at your local community college, this will count towards a year of A-G. You can call the Humboldt admissions staff to ask them how this will affect your admissions chances.I'm pretty sure it won't affect you too much. Humboldt is desperate for applicants, and if you have above a 3.0 and around a 1600 on the SAT, they will probably overlook this....Show more

Mayola Sylva: if the catalog states that the course is required, then it is required. You dont pass it, you dont get your degree. Simple."I took [insert class name] in high school....."If I had a nickel for every time I saw that/heard that...... Totally irrelevant. C! ollege classes have much higher expectations. the course they require helps you view the world differently, so bite the bullet, and take i. If you can, do it your second year....Show more

Alvaro Oare: Thanks for your answer. I kind of figure that's the response I'd get, but I was curious about what others knew from experience. Thanks again. What did you mean when you said I could take it my second year?
