May Stands: Do you have a checking and savings account? Some banks will give a secured credit card, using your savings. It might be a $500 credit card, but it would be a start. Pay the balance off every month and soon you will have the start of credit history. You can also try department stores and gas cards to help build a monthly history.
Houston Venezia: i suggest you get a secured credit card. bank of America offers a great one. you give them $300 and you can get a $300 credit line. they will hold the $300 for you as a collateral if for some reason you cant pay off the card . they will return the $300 back to you if you close it at least keep it for 6 months to a year then apply for an unsecured one. that's how you start to built credit.
Marcel Then: If you haven't already, start with a basic - open a checking account. Then, borrow $500 from the bank where you have your checking account to pay for your car insurance, or something that costs less than $500! . Pay if off.
Gerardo Greist: Look for prepaid credit cards or secured credit cards - both are designed for people with no credit.
