Percy Seiger: Your Out Of Luck. There is no Legal way that you can get a copy of your Father's Insurance or Car registration. If you are not the owner! of an Insurance Policy, you can not even look at it at an Insurance Company let alone get a copy of it. Same goes for the car. Every since that nut in California traced an Actress by her license and found where she lived and killed her, Nationwide you can not get the information unless you can prove you are the Registered Owner, or a Law Enforcement Officer....Show more

When you get the new registration and proof of insurance, make a copy of each and keep it in the car. Have your Dad hold on to the originals.
