Bryant Pillitteri: No, you've got it backwards. A video game is (something) like life. Humans have been around for at least a couple hundred thousand years. Video games, less than 40. And no, we aren't inside a video game. It has been calculated that to accurately simulate the universe on a scale that wouldn't allow us to perceive that it is a simulation would require as much energy as exists in the visible universe. As for uploading a human brain to a computer, that's still VERY futuristic science fiction. Neither the understanding of the brain nor the computer technology exists. The brain contains more neurons and synapses than there are stars in the largest galaxy It is the most complex structure in the known universe next to the universe itself No one will be making copies of it anytime soon. Now, to dispel some of this negativity, go find a book titled" Better Than Life" a novel by Doug Naylor and Rob Grant.. It's hysterically funny and about living inside a simulati! on.
